I am currently taking 150 - 200 mg of Tramadol a day. 50mg as needed for pain evry 4-6 hours.

I have just noticed today. My 4th day of being prescribed this medicine. That I have a bump that is almost directly under my ear and closer to the back of my ear. I am thinking there is a gland or somehting that is sweilling. Anyone know anything about this, Any information is great. Thanks.

There is a small chance that the glandular swelling is the start of a bad reaction to this medication, this has been known to happen to some people, even if they've taken the medication before, or have been on it for awhile without any issues. It would be best to contact your doctor immediately to be sure.

I once made the mistake of continuing a medication that caused my glands to start swelling, after a couple days, I developed a horrid, itchy skin rash, too, which took several weeks to clear up.

Are you on any other medications?
