Sweet Dreams With Campral
Updatedcan campral cause sweet dreams effect

Hi Jane,
Based on my research, Campral (acamprosate calcium) does actually list "abnormal dreams" and "hallucinations" as possible psychiatric side effects. Although I personally see no reason to be concerned if the dreams/visions are "sweet" and positive as you described them to be?
But if you feel that this ever becomes bothersome or severe I would still encourage you to contact your doctor to let him/her know what's going on.
Just out of curiosity, would you be able to describe the types of dreams you're having in any detail?
I hope this helps!
One of my dreams was of eating barbeque with Oprah Winfrey & having a really good time! Another dream was of reuniting a lost dog with its owner. The dreams are very pleasant compared to the bad dreams I had for years about things from the past. Im not complaining! I read that there is such a thing as "sweet dreams" effect as a side effect of some medicines. Thank you for responding! Jane.
I've been on campral for three days and I always have bad dreams of being trapped. My dreams are very intense .I don't like that. It's van get old real fast... I'm concerned cuz I don't feel rested when I wake up I feel stressed.why is this?
