Hi, Neal!

Doxycycline can make you more sensitive to the effects of the sun and heat, so you may burn, dehydrate or develop heat stroke much faster than usual.

While it would be preferable to stay out of the sun for the duration of treatment, I realize it's not always practical to do so, since some jobs leave you with no choice, so the next best thing to do would be to use a much stronger sunscreen than usual and apply it more often, plus make sure to take in extra fluids, if it's safe for you to do so, to prevent dehydration.

Learn more Doxycycline details here.

Is there anything else I can help with?
