This is an antibiotic, so it can be used to treat various types of bacterial infections, but it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

However, you do need to have this checked out as if it is an infection, you may not have enough of the antibiotic to fully eradicate it, or it may not be the correct antibiotic to treat it.
