Sulfamethoxazole Tmp Ds Side Effects

I'm on vacation in Florida and am on thus medication for a bacterial infection. Dr said no drinking or exposure to sun! Great vacation !! Anyways, wondering if after my 10 day of meds are done, how long does medicine stay in my system before I can drink and be in the sun?
