Sulfamethoxazole-tmp Ds For Uti

I have 7 sulfamethoxazole-tmp ds that I have to take (1 tablet by mouth twice a day). Is that enough to treat my uti infection?

You should take them as instructed by your prescriber. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

The only way to find out if it will work for you is to try it and see.
