Sulfamethoxazole Safe To Use

I have taken cephalexin for my post unbilical hernia surgery and developed a rash. I have read bad reviews on this medicine and have been in and out of er. Whats the worst these pills do?

If you're allergic to an antibiotic, an anaphylactic reaction could be fatal, but it could also be as mild as a skin rash, hives, swollen/painful glands and headaches, according to the FDA.

The typical side effects usually include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
