Hi Thandeka! If your doctor knows you're pregnant and prescribed this medication, then it should be safe to take. If you have any concerns call your doctor.
No, this is actually not considered safe to take during pregnancy. It has been known to cause fetal harm and some very serious birth defects.
If you require an antibiotic, it would be best to speak to your doctor about taking a different one.
Are there any other questions or concerns?
