Sulfamethoxazole And Foot Infections

I am taking this drug for a double ingrown toenail removal surgery. Have been on it almost 3 days. I'm still battling fever, nausea, and pain. I'm also diabedic. What should I do?

Those can also be side effects of this antibiotic, as reported by the FDA, so it's really hard to say what's causing these symptoms. Have you consulted your surgeon?

The FDA lists its other typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
