It would be best to avoid it, if possible, and if not you should use a strong sunblock. This antibiotic may make him more susceptible to the suns rays and heat, so he may burn or get heat stroke much faster than usual.
Common side effects to the medication may include nausea, dizziness, non-alelrgic skin rash and diarrhea.
