what medicine I can take for pain if I am taking sulfameth trimethoprim ... please answer fast this pain is killing me

Hi javier,

Based on my research, sulfamethoxazole + trimethoprim does not list any drug interactions between it and various pain medications (such as oxycodone, opana, norco, etc).

So in my opinion you should be just fine taking a narcotic along with the antibiotic.

However, you should always consult with your doctor first before making any kind of adjustments to your current regimen.
