Sulfameth Trimethoprim 800 160mg Tb

I want to know do what medication does because I never took it before. I start today.

Hi Tena,

The combination of sulfamethoxazole + trimethoprim is an antibiotic, prescribed to treat a variety of infections (including bacterial, fungal, and protozoal).

One thing I also want to mention so you can be aware of it, is that many people here have reported serious side effects/allergic reactions such as skin rashes, joint pain, nausea, migraines, etc, while taking it. So god forbid, if you do experience similar symptoms (which don't happen to everyone) I'd just encourage you to contact your doctor immediately for further advice on what to do from there.

IS ANYONE HAVING TROUBLE URINATING AFTER BEING ON THIS MED?
