Can you take a sleep aid like Zzzquil or Unisom with sulfameth/trimethoprim 800/160?

I didn't find any interactions or problems listed, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure.

The antibiotic may cause some drowsiness, so taking it with a sleep aid could intensify that and really knock you out. Thus, you should make sure that you only take it, when you're going straight to bed and won't be driving or anything.

Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, for the antibiotic may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
