My doctor prescribed sulfameth/trimethoprim 800/160 mg TB for my Bronchitis for every 12 hours for a 10 day round. I have been on it for 6 days and was looking it up on the internet. Some websites state that for chronic bronchitis it should be used for every 12 hours for 14 days. Has my doctor messed up and my bronchitis will not completely clear up?

No, a 10 day dosing is the normal course of treatment.
The FDA classifies this medication as being an antibiotic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
