Sulfameth / Tmp 800 Side Effects

I have been taking this drug for 3 weeks because of continual UTI infections. My Dr. prescribed this and it is working so far except I am having difficulty falling asleep each night until 3 am. I live in the central time zone and this is very late for me. I generally go to sleep around 10-11PM. My Dr. asked me to take this at night before going to bed. Could this procedure and medicine cause sleeping problems?

Yes, antibiotics can sometimes cause that in some people that take them, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
