My boyfriend have a bad tooth ack pain and he want some of my sulfame/trimethoprim will that help it until he go to the dentist on the 15

This is an antibiotic, so it is only effective at treating bacterial infections, it will not relieve the pain he's experiencing. It's also best not to take it, if it hasn't been prescribed for him, because it creates the risk of his developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.

Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
