My sister is in a rehab and she tested positive for 32 miligrams of sudafed in her system. She has a history of abusing alchohol, diet pills and cocaine. She does not have any known sinus or cold issues. Could she get high of of sudafed?

When taken in large quantities, the active ingredient Pseudoephedrine has stimulant like effects, just like the diet pills and cocaine she has been known to abuse.
People have been known to abuse it for those affects and for weight loss.
In high doses, it can cause nervousness, excitability, weight loss, elevated blood pressure and elevated heart rate.
