Sucralfate 1 Gm Tablet
UpdatedI choke and can't swallow this big tablet. Can I crush it and melt it into a liquid and take it with water or juice? I have tried to crush it and still choke on it's crumbs.

Hello, Jean! How are you?
Yes, this medication isn't time released, so there shouldn't be any problem with doing that, unless your pharmacist says otherwise.
You could crush it and put it in something, or just cut it into smaller pieces that you can swallow.
This medication is most commonly used to treat active duodenal ulcers and its side effects may include constipation, flatulence, headache and dry mouth.
Is there anything else I can help with?
