Subutex To Suboxone

I have been on Subutex for a couple years. The doctor I have went nuts and told me he is closing shop and hates all his clients. Anyway he switched me to suboxone film for my last script. I have been on it for 4 days the 1st two days I didn't feel great but it was manageable and now yesterday and today I am so sick. I feel like a I am in full withdraw i tried taking more but it made it worst. I have no opiates in my system I have only taken subtext for years. There is nothing online showing why I would be sick with the switch. I tried calling the doctors office but I think he closed down. Or at least he is closed today.

I'm about to move to Tennessee for good but my biggest fear is not be in able to find a dr near me and I've been on subutex for years...I've Google a few places and can't find anyone accepting new patience...does any one have any ideas I'm moving to Livingston Tennessee?!
Hey Marissa,
That doctor sounds like he just couldn't cope with the pressure of being in this profession. Sorry to hear that you had to be in the midst of all his drama. Have you managed to get ahold of anyone at the office since you last posted, in order to determine what's really going on?
The reason for the sick feeling could potentially be due to the presence of naloxone, which isn't in the Subutex (that you've been taking for a couple years) - the act of suddenly adding to your system what some patients on here have referred to as "poison" (naloxone) would probably be the first thing I'd think of that may be producing a negative effect on your body. Though this is all speculative, I don't think these patients would give it a nickname like poison for no reason. Here's a list of possible side effects associated with naloxone: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0065206/#DDIC603941.side_effects_section
Another theory is that certain inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that aren't in Subutex, but are in Suboxone, could also have an impact on how well the tablet is metabolized. If this is true, you might only be getting a partial dose every time you take it.
Those are my thoughts in a nut shell. Just some things to take into consideration. Hopefully you'll be able to find a good doctor that actually enjoys what he does for a living *knock on wood* Lol.
I wish you good health always!
Kansas city no suboxen ??????
