Strength Of Medication

I have been taking 325 mg of hydrocodone, only "as needed". A recent trip to hospital & Dr. there gave me a prescription for 15mg morphine. Which one is stronger? Don't think the morphine helps with my pain as much, but it doesn't leave me with a drug
"hangover". So, I am assuming hydrocodone is stronger?

They are actually equivalent, according to NIH reports, on a 1 to 1 ratio. Thus, since the highest dose available of Hydrocodone contains 10mgs of it accompanied with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the new dose of Morphine is actually stronger.

The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
