Stopped Taking Tri-sprintec

I started my new pack and only took three pills. Because I missed so many I just decided to stop it all together. Trying to get pregnant. Now I've been off for about two weeks. I'm ovulating this week. Now I am having cramps and very light spotting. Am I going to start my period early because I stopped taking it on day three?

Looks like I started my menstralcycle early. It's very lights but we will see. Thanks for the reply!

Yes, that can occur, since this is a hormonal contraceptive, as classified by the FDA. The cramping can also be a withdrawal effect, you may also experience headache and other PMS-like symptoms.

In a few weeks, however, things should return to normal, if not, then please consult your doctor.
