Stop 100 Mg Gabapentin?

I have been taking 100 mg of gabapentin for three weeks for neuropathy and it helped but I am feeling so down and giving mood swings so I want to stop taking it. Can I just stop it without ant problems. I'm taking a capsule so I can't cut it in half.

After such a short period of time, you usually can, but it would be best to check with your doctor, to be safe. If you are prone to seizures, there is a risk of your experiencing them, according to FDA reports.

However, you should be aware that these side effects will usually pass, once your body gets used to the medication, which generally takes about 5 to 6 weeks.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
