you guys are being fooled..I work in the pharmacy and do all the ordering-we have 1,000's..you are just being told that the pharmacy is out of stock if you are not a long time time patient...that way they are saved for the regular customers!

I AM A REGULAR OF THE WALGREENS I GO TO, MY PHARMISIST KNOWS ME BY NAME, HAS ASSITED ME WHEN THAT PARTICULAR STORE DID NOT HAVE THEM , SENT ME TO THE OTHER STORE SHE WORKS AT, I'VE NEVER GONE TO ANOTHER WALGREENS,SHE IS NOW OUT ON SICK LEAVE, I CHANGED DOCTORS SINCE LAST MONTH, GOING TO MY NEW DOCTOR THIS COMING MONDAY,JULY 9TH. I HAVE MEDICARE,WHICH PAYS FOR MY PRESCRIPTIONS, ALSO MEDICIAD,BUT MEDICARE IS MY PRIMARY, MY DOCTOR IS A CASH ONLY DOCTOR, I STOPPED BY WALGREENS THE OTHER NIGHT AND ASKED ONE OF THE YOUNGER TECHS,TO SEE IF I WOULD HAVE ANY PROBLEM FILLING THIS MONTH & GAVE HIM THE NAME OF MY NEW DOCTOR, BY THE WAY, MY OLD DOCTOR WAS CASH ONLY ALSO, BUT I CHANGED BECAUSE I HEARD THEY WERE UNDER INVESTIGATION,ANYWAY THE YOUNG MAN PULLED UP MY PROFILE AND TOLD ME WALGREENS HAS A NEW POLICY AS FAR AS FILLING YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FROM DOCTORS YOU DO NOT ACCEPT YOUR INSURANCE, BUT HE SAID I COULD TALK TO THE MANAGER ABOUT IT, HE WOULD BE THER IN THE MORNING...DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS GOING ON WITH THIS, AND IF ITS TRUE, DO YOU KNOW OF ANYONE ON MEDICARE WHO GETS THERE'S FILLED AT ANOTHER PHARMACY WHO DOES NOT HAVE THAT POLICY, I LIVE IN THE GOLDENROD WINTER PARK FL. AREA,I ALSO HEARD CVS IS STARTING TO FILL FOR THEM AGAIN, IS THIS TRUE, PLEASE HELP ME, ANY ANSWERS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED..DEE

I got the same story yesterday at a Walgreens in St. Pete trying to fill my MS-Contin. They can no longer fill for my doctor because he is cash only!! The pharmacist said they have a whole list of doctors that don't take insurance who they will no longer fill as of July 1, 2012. I also asked if he had a list of doctors they would fill for which of course he declined.

what pharmacy do you work at? is it here in central florida, is it a chain pharmacy? do they accept medicare from patients who 's doctors are cash only?

hey y'all.........same story here in South St Pete...searched for the 30's, wrote to the President of the USA. I am so sick of these pharmacists who have less education than I di playing "God". It is INSANE!!!thought things might get better after the first of the month...what a laugh. I hope every single one of these pharmacists has to experience excruciating debilitating pain for weeks!!!!!!!Maybe they would quit being so smug.Sorry for ranting, but every time I try to go and fill I get so depressed. BTW, I am a 54y/o female college educated business owner and I show up in a suit. I look like someones Granny, so their excuses arent washing.Walgreens is the worst, but CVS is right up there.Make sure and sign the petition at change.org. K
