I am a parkinsonian since about 6/7 yrs and have been taking different medicines as per neuro's prescriptions. I had a bypass surgery procedure 3 years back. At the moment I am on Syndopa+
6snd half tabs distributed during the day between 5 am and 7 pm
and 1 syndopa cr 125 at 7 am and one syndopa cr 250 at 1030 pm.
I had very little sleep for quite some time (about 3/4 hrs only) and was prescribed stilnoct 6.25 (sos basis) and was advised to take whenever I felt that i did not have sufficient sleep. I just tried taking it for some 2 tabs a week for about 3/4 weeks. Now I feel it is needed every day if I have to sleep to be fresh next morning despite tremors on account of parkinson. I have a feel that I get less or no sleep due to fear of hallucination which I suffer after 9 pm for the rest of the night.
I have seen another friend of mine using restyl.25 one everyday for his sleep. Looking at the number .25 agaiinst 6.25 freightens me whether I am taking to a very strong drug and will I be addicted for the rest of the time (now I am 72). Please reply on specific point as to which one is better in my condition without endangering myself of addiction. Thanks.
