Steroid Injections With Prolia Possible Side Effects

Have scoliosis and failed back syndrome. Have intrathecal prialt pump, rheumatoid arthritis, hip turned in, atrial fibrillation, kidney stones, osteoarthritis, two knees that need replacement, neuropathy, history of cellulitis, teeth problems, two feet that need fusions, skin so thin from using prednisone, olecrenitis in elbows. Would you recommend I get a prolia infusion?

Hi Betsy, very sorry about your conditions. The only thing I can tell you is what I experienced from the Prolia inj's. I began them in 2012, trusted my oncologist, given no info at the time about the side effects! I only had the beginning of osteopenia and regret ever taking the inj's. I had no muscle pains, no joint pains, not arthritis. After the inj's. I suffer daily with pain, also skin problems, vertigo, stomach problems, suffer from most all of the side effects. Sorry for no better news, but it was a horrible drug for me. Hope this helps and good luck to you.

Dear David, thank you for advice. I have been reading posts and I think I will not get the injection. Thank you everyone for sharing experiences. Without this information I probably would have taken my first shot.
