I got a Rocephin shot and a steroid shot yesterday, the nurse gave both in the same hip less than an inch apart. I immediately began bleeding out all over her hand my pants and the floor. The pain in my Hip spread to my leg and lower back, the dr. gave me naproxen sodium for pain....its not working I hurt worse then i did when i went in with my ear infections, i dont know if this is normal but i called the drs office and they still havent called me back.

The bleeding shouldn't have occurred like that from just getting a couple of shots. That's rather unusual and that coupled with the pain makes me wonder about exactly what happened.
The pain can happen with a steroid and if some of the medications pool under the skin in the muscle, that would explain the pain in your hip. Rubbing that area lightly usually helps the medication to be absorbed and can prevent that.
Have they called you back, yet? How are you feeling, now?
