so I started birth control (sprintec) the second day I got my period. I started it Saturday night and took it the next morning (Sunday) when I woke up. I went tubing that day and had my period the whole day like normal. then the next day I did not bleed much it was that awkward brown sort of thing and then I completely stopped bleeding a couple days after that. I'm on the "placebo" week of my first pill pack. I'm about to take my 3rd pill of my placebo week and I still haven't gotten my period. is it my body just getting use to taking this pill??

Yes, it's most likely due to your body getting used to the hormones in it. You can experience such irregularities for the first 3 months, or so.
Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and weight gain.
