I am 24 yo diagnosed with folliculitis, many boils on head ,one on eyelid got swollen enough enought to close it, even got swollen lymph nodes on jaw line, boils on buttocks also, started taking 3 tablet in a day augmentin625gm 4days ago, it stopped the pain and swelling almost 90 percent but still got a new small bump, mY question 1. Is what if the infection got resistant and 2.how long is required the taking of antibiotic or 3.if i have to change augmentin 4.is it ok to change Augmentin to other antibiotic, 5. Antibiotics that are most effective in it.. please reply soon and in detail.thank you

You should take it as directed by your doctor and for as long as your doctor instructs you to do.
The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Are you on any other medications?
Was the infection cultured to discover the specific bacteria that caused it?
