Sprintec Period Stays On

Hey I've started taking BC for the first time ever on Aug 4th the week of my period and two weeks later my period stayed off than when i started my whites pills it started again and never went off and i am on the third pack and i really want my period to be off by now, but its still on what do i have to do to stop my period or how long should i wait.

Hello, Tbabes! How are you? That has to be very annoying.

Usually, it can take about 3 months for such side effects to stop, but since you're still experiencing the bleeding into your third pack, that means that just might not be the right one for you to take.

Have you contacted your doctor, yet?

They should be able to prescribe an alternative contraceptive that you can try.
