Spotting With Metronidazole
UpdatedWell I had my period on the 10th of the month and I've been taking this medicine. The doctor says I'm suppose to take it for 7 days. My last day is tomorrow. I started spotting a little and it was light pink. What does that mean?

Most antibiotics can disrupt your menstrual cycle, especially if you use any type of hormonal contraceptive, thus spotting can be normal, according to the FDA, other side effects may include dizziness, headache, nausea, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
