Sporasec Capsules (Top voted first)

The doctor gave me Sporasec capsules to take for an infection and I need some details on it. Whether it's for a sexual transmitted disease or/& the purposes of Sporasec and side-effects of it. In light of all of this, I am also bleeding and need to know why? So I'm waiting until the capsules are finished then I will go to another gyne for a second opinion. What do you suggest?

My wife has had a series of infections, mostly yeast, for some time. Just the other day her GYN prescribed SPORASEC to her, every 12hr/3 days, and without any consultation or test on my part, said that I as well needed to take this. I am exhibiting no symptoms whatsoever. Is this med commonly administered to men when their wife/sex partner has to take this drug....thank you

Just had my anual check up and my gyn called to tell me that i had to much bacteria around my vagina it is a cross between a yeast infection. i dont itch or any symptons just tht my urine smells a bit strong. I drink lots of waters. The prescribed sporasec to take for three days . they called is gyneo something cannot remember the name. please shed some light.

Sporasec contains the active ingredients Itraconazole and Secnidazole, this is an antibiotic used to treat various conditions, including STDs and yeast infections.

And yes, in some cases, it is possible that the husband may also carry the yeast infection, even though they show no symptoms, and doctors will want to treat them as well, to prevent a recurrence to your wife.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and skin rash.

Took Sporasec for 3 days but a week later the infection is back - I have an active sex life and believe that might triggered.
Can I take it again?

Hi, since ferbraury 2014 I've been having yeast quiet often up on till april 2014 I went to the doctor serval times the did swabs an stuff I told her every time I had sex with my partner I get sick, now she gave me sprasec to take every 12 hours for 3days an now I am sick again with a weird discharge it itches an have some clumpy stuff in it, my partner is away so I m not sexually active at the moment over a month now, can u please give me some advice, Thank you

i started taking this medication today and soon after i noticed some light bleeding from my vagina after urinating. Later that day it started getting heavy like a period. i had a period which left a week ago, that period lasted for two weeks because i recently had a surgery to remove one of my ovaries. it worries me that right after i had my surgery the doctor told me that i would get a period which did come and left a week ago as previously mentioned and as soon as i started taking this medication i started bleeding again and reading up on the side effects i see menstrual changes. is that normal?

I couldn't get rid of mine for ever and I went to Tijuana to see a doctor who prescribed this for 10 days it will take at least 2 weeks and more for this to work 3 days is not enough and it is for yeast infection.
