Is it okay to split a 10 mg. tablet of lisinopril in half to equal a 5 mg. tablet?

Yes, this is safe to do, as long as a tablet isn't time released or your doctor or pharmacist has not specifically instructed you not to do so.

Lisinopril is most commonly used to help lower high blood pressure.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dizziness.
