Spider Bite

I have what I believe is a spider bite on my thigh that is red and swollen. It has a hard mass just under the skin and hurts to have anything touch it. The bite is two small puncture holes but the swelling and dark redness much larger, the whole inside of my thigh. My neighbor gave me these pink pills with 44-239 to take for this, what do you think about that?

You need to see a doctor for this, it may need to be lanced and drained, from your description, that sounds venomous, rather than just like an allergic reaction.

The tablets you've been given are just over the counter 25mg Diphenhydramine, a generic for Benadryl, used to treat allergies and allergic reactions. They will not do much if you've got an abscess forming from venom.

I have been bitten by a spider under my breast and have a red bump. I just noticed it today and have felt tired and off balance for about a week. I thought it was just allergies. I cleaned the red bump with soap and water and applied a triple antibiotic cream. Can I also apply Calamine lotion?
