Sotalol Is Causing Hair Loss

Anybody notice hair loss while taking sotalol 120mg for PVC's? What can I do about it.

Yes, that is a fairly common side effect of this medication, but there's not really anything that can be done, it generally persists as long as someone is still taking it.

The only suggestion I can make is to ask your doctor about trying a different medication.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I have been taking sotalol for over 8 months now and before I was taking this medication I had a healthy head of hair.. now I am thinning for much...I mean I thought maybe it was my so called bad water in this trailer park ...but then I thought I'm going to look up this med to see if there are any side affects. then I came across this... has anyone finding any solution to this problem?

Yes, you do lose a lot of hair plus if you take it with Eliquis, it’s a double whammy it’s very disconcerting along with the dizziness and the pain in the calves and all of those side effects and they tell me that I have to take it anyway
