If there are no markings on them, then yes, they are most likely something that is available over the counter. All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have imprints on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Thus, unless he has access to some source for foreign medications, they are most likely nothing to worry about.
Does anyone recognize these tablets?
I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you.
