If there is no marking, that means that it's most likely an over the counter product. In the U.S. all prescription tablets are required to have markings to enable their identification in case of emergency.

Where was it found?

Some over the counter products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down.

Does anyone else have an idea of what this tablet might be?

I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you.
