I believe the marking may have actually been AN 627 and the tablet contains 50mgs of Tramadol which is a centrally acting analgesic.

It isn't generally used to help with sleep related problems, but it can cause some drowsiness as a side effects, along with nausea, dizziness and dry mouth.

It also has the potential to be habit forming.
