fall asleep ok but wake at 1 or 2 am exhausted still

My Dr. advised me to take Viibryd in the evenings. I am on day 12, and I sleep okay sometimes, but mostly I feel exhausted and sleep-deprived. I have interrupted sleep and I wake up too early to get a full 8 hours of sleep. I have tried taking melatonin, but that didn't really help.
