Are you referring to a vaginal yeast infection?

If so, as listed by the NIH, there are several possible causes, such as taking tub baths that use a lot of soaps/oils or etc., wearing underwear that isn't cotton and retains too much moisture, remaining in a wet swimsuit for too long, or taking antibiotics.

A yeast infection requires an antifungal medication to treat and the side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and spotting.
