Skipping A Period Using Sprintec To Go On Vacation (Top voted first)

I need to skip a period next month to go on vacation.....can this work?

Absolutely! I take them continuously and skip the white ones completely. No periods. It's great! My MD says there's no reason we need to have a period at all, so have at it!

This is correct, it will not harm you at all, though it is recommended that you let your body complete a normal period cycle at least occasionally.

I do it regularly, especially when traveling or facing a special occasion. There are even pill packs available now that you take for several months straight without having a period.

My boyfriend is coming back from college and he is only going to be in town for the weekend. I started my white pills this past Sunday but want to be done with my period by Friday night or early Saturday. This is my first month taking it so I'm not sure how my body gonna work with it yet. My periods are usually a full 7 days. Do periods tend to be shorter when on sprintec? If not can I start my blue pills on Thursday or Friday to make my period end sooner?

I want to skip my period next month for vacation but I'm on lo loestrin fe, which has 24 blue pills, 2 white and 2 brown.. When should I start my new pack? On day 22 (even though I would still have blue pills left) or should I start on day 24 when the blue pills are over?
