Sorry, since this is not available in the U.S. finding information on it is difficult. Other countries just do not regulate their drugs and require as much information to be available to the consumer as the U.S. FDA does.

I suggest asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Butamirate is an antitussic (cough suppressant) agent. Unlike Codein, Hydrocodone, Pholcodin and the likes it is not an opioid and has no sedating or constipating side effects. It's also very safe to use in children. Why it's not being used in UK, US, AU etc. is beyond me. It's very popular in continental Europe. Adverse effects are mild and rare and include nausea, skin rash and vertigo.

hay..riza.if you are above 18 yrs , butamirate syrup you can use 15ml , four times a day for one week........the Drug is a centrally acting non-opiod anti-tussive ..it's well tolerated too.......
