Simvastatin 20mg Drl

What is the difference, besides appearance, between simvastatin 20 mg drl and simvastatin? I just refilled a prescription of the drl. It is small, round and brown. The new simvastatin prescription is small, oval and sort of orange/tan.

In this case, it is highly likely that they were just manufactured by a different company.

I can't say with certainty, since the poster didn't provide the markings from the tablets they mentioned, but if the dosage is the same, that's usually the first thing that confuses many people.

Each manufacturer has to use different markings on their tablets, to enable them to be identified in case of emergency. The shape and color of pills is purely up to their whit and whim.
