I have an enlarged LV due to hypertension. My doctor prescribed me Lisopril for that very reason, so I believe so.

I think the initial confusion here was caused by the incorrect medication name, it's actually called Lisinopril.

It is an ACE inhibitor that's most commonly used to help lower high blood pressure and to treat certain cardiac conditions.

The side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry cough and stomach pain.
