Side Effects Taking Tian Qi Du Zhong Wan And Warfin?

I have had chronic severe back pain for approximately 30 years. I have bouts where I can hardly walk, currently I am in that state right now. A friend of mine says she takes this herbal dietary supplement for her severe back and neck pain. I am wondering if I can take the same even though I am on a regimen of warfin due to having had blood clots approximately seven years ago? I also see a chiropractor approximately every two weeks faithfully.

No, it is not safe for you take this supplement with Warfarin. It contains plum flower and ginseng, the latter of which also causes blood thinning.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Warfarin as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.
