And I find it necessary to inform you that this medication WILL NOT prevent pregnancy, it IS NOT an effective contraceptive.

There are many people that believe that a product containing Aspirin will prevent pregnancy, BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE!

It is a myth/old wives tale!

Aspirin DOES NOTHING to prevent fertilization and implantation of your egg.

If you continue with this and are sexually active, YOU WILL GET PREGNANT!

If Aspirin were an effective method of birth control, women all over the world would be using it and not spending a lot more money, every month, for prescriptions and visits to their doctor.

The only way Aspirin may effect a pregnancy is because it is a blood thinner. It will NOT prevent a pregnancy, but if, for some reason, you start to miscarry, or go full-term with the pregnancy and go into labor, it can cause a severe hemorrhage and risk your own life.

That said, please see your doctor for a proper and safe method of birth control!

Been using this as contraceptives... you have 3 days before the egg and sperm gets locked up with each other. Meaning you have take cortal within 3 days. My boyfriend and i have been so intimate for 6 months now and yes, we are sexually active. He cums inside me and it does not bother me. After sex, i take 3 TABS of cortal 500MG to reset my cells. I have been doing this for 6 months now and i am not preggy yet. It causes UTI tho so dont use it much. Take note: you should take 3 TABLETS OF CORTAL WITHIN 3 DAYS, (NO EXTENSION). For those who are allergic to some meds... take alerta or any anti-histamine first then wait atleast 2 hrs for its effect before taking cortal.

Again, it causes UTI so dont use it much, dont abuse it...
