Side Effects Of Prednisone (Top voted first)
UpdatedI am halfway thru a 10 day course of prednisone for pneumonia. Iam feeling much better except that I have developed a weird feeling as of an overinflated balloon. My body feels very tight. Am I the only one?

Hello, Lisa12! How are you feeling?
No, you aren't the only one that experiences this type of thing. These are very common side effects to most steroid medications, but they should wear off a few days after you finish your course of treatment with it.
If they do not, or if they get worse, please consult your doctor.
Is there anything else I can help with?
Thanks for your response but can you tell me what is causing this tightness?? Is it trapped gas? It is affecting my breathing.
