Side Effects Of Oleanz 5 Mg

Side effects include: Dizziness, enormous weight gain. After taking for 9months I increased my self by 10kg. When I stopped it gradually my weight decreased.

I was prescribed oleanz plus half tablet for severe muscle pain with insomnia and some depression also. Now after taking it for 10 months I stopped but all the old problems returned. Can I take this medicine again?

This is an antipsychotic, so it is normal for it to cause weight gain, according to NIH reports, along with nausea, drowsiness, headache, and mood changes. It contains the active ingredient Olanzapine.

Geeta you can take it, again, as long as your doctor approves. Are you on any other medications?

Personally I hate this drug and was put on it for a year and the psychiatrist thinks that I am still taking it! I put on weight, it comatosed me and removed any sense of reality. I have not taken any for at least 8 months and at regular sessions with the dr's it's regularly mentioned how well I look and am doing! As they think I still take it as prescribed. Just my personal experience!
