Side-effects Of Norsulin

My mother takes 1 tablet Norsulin 500mg Metformin with 2.5 mg of Glipzide daily 15 minutes before breakfast and half-tablet before lunch. This was prescribed by her doctor. She says that after taking the tablet she feels not only dizzy and drowsy but also very weak. Are these normal and usual side-effects of the drug? Or does this mean her sugar level plummets everytime she takes the talet? Thanks.

The dizziness and drowsiness can be normal side effects, but the weakness may mean that her blood sugar is dropping too low. What are her sugar readings at these times?

Has she contacted her doctor, yet?
