Side Effects Of Eptoin Suspension

My daughter is one years old and had minor convultion. Our doctor suggested to give eptoin suspension for two years.
I want to know the side effects of this medicine.

My son is 13 months old and had a convultion which lasted for 90- 100 mins. The doctor has prescribed eption suspension for him. I would like to know the side affect of the same and is it safe for small babies.

Eptoin contains the active ingredient Phenytoin, it is frequently used to control seizures in children.

Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight changes and hypotension.

weight changes can be seen on days to come my daughter is 1.5 yrs old now. seizure happened 07 months back.

what about hypotension. what does this mean??

My nephew is 1 year old. When he was of 9 months he suffered from cough and cold. He was stiffened for a minute when he was playing, then we took him outside in the open and after a while he became normal. Such a thing happened twice in the last 5 months. It also happened once when he was crying. He became normal when we took him outside in the open. What's wrong with him? There is nothing abnormal in him.
