Side Effects Of Coveram Medication (Top voted first)
UpdatedWhen using Coveram for high blood pressure Hello yes read the side affects from coveram of other people and their problems with it - the urinating is bad as I felt like going to the loo a lot - but one thing I would like to confirm is this does it affect a person's eye. Complaints of floaters have been made whilst on this medicine - Also I am finding although it brings down the lower nbr for HBP the upper nbr is rather high - my HBP is hereditary though - Is it really safe to use plus the potassium thing? It recommends that people on this med should not take too much potassium. Does this include no orange juice or does it mean medicine with potassium? Thanks.

Hello, Kathy! How are you?
Yes, it can cause visual disturbances as a side effect, you may also experience others that are listed by the U.S. FDA, such as dizziness, headache, drowsiness and hypotension.
And yes, that means don't add any potassium supplements, but your normal diet should be fine. Your doctor should also do blood work occasionally to check your potassium level.
Is there anything else I can help with?
I've been prescribed coverage 10mg but my BP is still 161/96 and excessive headaches.
Yes funny how medication is supposed to he people but rarely does I am finding going natural and being persistent with all,the things that I should eat and watch out for the licorice ( we all know it sends BP up high) plus tea n coffee
